Confidence is
con ("with")
fideo ("faith"). In other words, it is not an alone faith; it is a "faith with" - a faith with God's faith. Your faith and God's faith flow together. You and Christ together have everything necessary.
You have to have faith in His faith. Faith is not merely your holding on to God - it is God holding on to you.
