The rod and the staff remember are for you. Jesus might give you a knock on the head sometime. Sometimes we deserve it! We need it! But remember that the rod and staff are also for your protection. There are enemies lurking in the shadows. Jesus is your defense. He will knock your attackers on the head as well. He will lay your enemies low. Take courage, my friend. You have a mighty warrior friend in Jesus!
